Kang Tae-young, CEO of WONKANG Co., Ltd., a company specializing in construction and mining equipment parts, announced that the company has obtained the INNOBIZ (Innovative Small and Medium Business) certification, a certification for technology-innovative SMEs. In addition, the company was selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ “Global Hidden Champion 1,000+ Project” last month, gaining recognition for its technological capabilities and export competitiveness.

WONKANG is preparing to participate in KOMATEK 2026, which will be held in Türkiye from June 3 to 6, and will subsequently participate in GEOFLUID 2026, which will be held in Milan, Italy, from October 7 to 10. As the Middle Eastern market has recently experienced some contraction due to geopolitical factors and other variables, WONKANG is strengthening its global market expansion strategy with a focus on the Turkish and European markets.

WONKANG has continued technological development and quality improvement in the field of key construction and mining equipment components and supplies various industrial equipment parts, including Cutter Teeth, Pick Cutters, Gear Boxes, and Mud Pumps, to domestic and overseas markets.
